Facts
Silicon Dioxide or SiO2 is found in the earth's crust abundantly as Sandstone, Silica Sand, or Quartz. It is commonly seen in two forms; it's crystalline forms, which are Quartz, Tridymite, and Cristobalite, and also in the form of Fused Silica, which is a high purity grade of Silica primarily used for electronics. It is odorless and the crystals are usually white but can be other colors.
